Can you introduce yourself?
I’m Pauline, Office Manager at Hexa, and I wear several hats. I manage the office, all things related to layout after renovations and after the move. I also handle our sustainability work and the policy we want to implement.
What is Hexa?
Hexa is a startup studio. And what’s a startup studio?
It’s a place where ideas are turned into companies. We look for entrepreneurs and support them for a year to turn those ideas into real businesses.
You moved recently?
Yes, we moved four months ago into our new offices. This meant renovation work, a full redesign, and setting up the Work With Island pods.
You brought your pods with you?
Yes. We had five phone booths in our previous office on Rue Ambroise Thomas, and we took them with us to our new space on Rue Martel.
Why include pods in your offices?
We decided to install phone booths because our office is one large open space. We need quiet places to take calls without disturbing the people sitting next to us.
Why choose Work With Island?
After the move, we needed new call pods very quickly. Work With Island was incredibly reactive. Within two weeks, the pods were delivered to our office.
What is the main use for you?
The pods are heavily used by the founders. Especially when they work on financial topics or fundraising. They need calm, private spaces, and the pods are perfect for that.
