In 2024, we installed 29 pods at Fever’s headquarters in Madrid, including 26 Solo pods and 3 Quattro pods. It was the first time Fever purchased acoustic pods, and the installation completely changed the way their teams work, bringing calm and focus back into the open space.

From Paris to Madrid
Fever recently moved into new offices in Madrid. Their new home is the former British Embassy, now renovated into an office space.
Like many companies, Fever’s offices were originally one large open space with only a few meeting rooms.The lack of collaboration areas created noise and discomfort, so Fever turned to Work With Island to bring calm and comfort to their teams.
This is where Alicia Szczygielska, Workplace Manager, welcomed us to talk about their workspace, the impact of the pods and the improvement in daily life in the open space.
What motivated the purchase of acoustic pods?
Fever’s mission is to democratise access to culture and provide our users with unique leisure and entertainment experiences.
We moved to new offices because the company is growing fast. We welcome new employees every week, so we needed more space, more meeting rooms, more pods and more desks.
What problems were you trying to solve with Work With Island pods?
We wanted to improve the way we manage meeting room bookings. With so many people here, the demand was very high, and the rooms were always taken. We also wanted to maintain a focused and quiet atmosphere in the open space.
How have the Island pods improved your workspace?
They allow us to take calls and hold meetings in a much quieter, more private environment.
Because the pods provide excellent sound isolation, they also help maintain silence in the open space, where most employees work.
How did delivery and installation go?
It was very simple, very efficient and very fast. Communication with the Work With Island team was also excellent throughout the entire process, from order to delivery.
Why are pods a good complement to traditional meeting rooms?
Smaller meetings, like one-to-ones, can now easily take place inside the pods. There’s no need to block a large meeting room designed for team or cross-team sessions.
