How EGYM Wellpass has relied on Work With Island pods since 2022

Context

‍EGYM Wellpass (formerly Gymlib) gives employees access to thousands of gyms, studios and online wellness classes. In Paris, its offices in the 11th arrondissement bring together 100 employees across 5 floors, including a sales team of around fifty people.

The need

‍When you sell a workplace wellbeing solution, you're bound to be demanding about your own comfort at the office. At EGYM Wellpass, the sales team spends the day on the phone. In an open-plan office, that gets noticed. All the more so as office attendance is concentrated on certain days, such as Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The office is quiet on Mondays and Fridays, but the rest of the week, the noise level rises fast. Everyone needs to be able to step away when a call requires it, without taking over a meeting room.

A long-standing collaboration: since 2022

‍It all started in 2022 with an order for two Island Solo pods. A few months later, a third one joined them. The teams adopted them quickly, and the need grew with the company. In 2025, the company placed a new order: two Island Desk pods and one Island Solo. By then, choosing a supplier was no longer really a question.
In 2026, Gymlib officially became EGYM Wellpass. A new identity, a new group culture, and offices redesigned with Yemanja. The perfect opportunity to welcome the new generation of Work With Island acoustic pods: an Island Desk Light. The teams particularly appreciate its new lighting.

The setup

‍Three rounds of orders later, every floor has one or two pods. They're booked in advance for video calls and phone calls. To give every team fair and clear access, a booking system has been put in place.
